Hello!

Last week ...

I had an absurd amount of caffeine ...

due to Henry's "boogers being out of control"

... his words, not mine...

and keeping me up at night. 

We played a couple games of Chutes and Ladders... 

a.k.a. longest game EVER. 

And he was more than thrilled to slide down the chutes... 

and start over... each and every time. 

I ain't gonna lie... I wanted to cheat ... 

in a bad way...

yep, ain't no shame in my game.

 I resisted... pinky swear. 

We celebrated Maisie's birthday at Texas Roadhouse. 

Besides some tae kwon do... 

a mean choke hold by Peanut...

and Henry throwing sugar packets down my sister's cleavage

... it was a success.

Baby girl turned 10 years old... 

this is my "classic Maisie":

bedhead, puffy morning face, ...

and cheesy grin... 

she's the coolest 10 year old I know. 

My healing tattoo is still pretty tender.

Anything that rubs up against it feels like steel wool.

{ouch}

Greta is a certified opthamologist. 

Welp, she might as well be anyways. {wink}

Which reminds me I should forewarn Henry's teachers

that he only knows his alphabet according to to an eye chart. 

It'll probably explain a lot. 

Lastly... 

My husband started the grocery list.

Spaghetti and carrots for the church...

and beer and liquor....

Hot Dam no less.. 

I assume NOT for church ...

but for deer camp. 

The irony some times... right!
